About Us

This business thrives on a husband/wife partnership of Chris and Carolyn Niehoff who have been married for over 14 years and live in Eureka, MO. It's his hobby and her business. Read on to get to know them.

Chris Niehoff

By day, Chris crunches numbers in spreadsheets as an estimator in the manufacturing and construction industries. In addition to being a devoted husband and father, he enjoys time carving out bowls with his wood lathe in his workshop as a hobby in his spare time. At the end of an evening of wood turning, he happily walks into the house covered in wood shavings, much to his wife's dismay. She finds these wood shavings everywhere.

Carolyn Niehoff

With a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration from The University of Kansas (KU), and a stint studying art in Florence, Italy, Carolyn enjoys being a visual communicator through image and typography. A career shift is happening for Carolyn after serving for 15+ years as a graphic designer for Christian non-profits in the St Louis area--including five years on the staff in the Communications Department at the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod International Center in Kirkwood, MO. Her art specializes in acrylic and oil paintings of scriptural art and Christian illustrations, including hand lettering, and stencil work on wooden signs and a variety of home decor items.

Carolyn's visual art career was put on hold during COVID to homeschool her four children at the family’s home in Eureka, MO.  With four young children, she was a busy homeschool teacher for two years.  However, as her children returned to their elementary schools, she reconsidered what direction she wanted to take with her art career.  She made a courageous decision to create her own artwork and offer it for sale in the greater St. Louis community.
